Nova Scotia wins Challenge!!
Nova Scotia re-claimed the title in the NB vs. NS Team Tennis Challenge held at the Abony Family Tennis Center over the past weekend. The final score was 41-37 for the Bluenosers. The score after Day 1 play on Friday was tied 9-9. On Saturday, the team from Nova Scotia dominated play and finished the day with a 34-26 lead. Despite winning 11 of 18 matches on Sunday, team New Brunswick was not able to overcome the deficit but kept things close right to the end. 60 players, aged 20 to 65 took part in the 3 day event. The next edition of the event will be held in the fall in Nova Scotia.
