2026 WTN Bonus Circuit
Tennis NB will hold four (4) indoor WTN singles and doubles events from January to April 2026. Events will run as normal but will now include an additional incentive. Players who participate will be awarded 10 points for every match won (singles or doubles) regardless of division. Events are open to any player, any age, male or female.
The top 3 players (male or female) with the most points accumulated at the end of the 4 events will win a bonus award as per the following:
1st Place: $3 per point
2nd Place: $2 per point
3rd Place: $1 per point
So for example, if you finish first overall with say 200 points, your bonus award would be $600 (200 X $3).
The following are the dates of the 4 events:
#1: January 23-25: registration opens on Tuesday, January 6 @ 9:00am
#2: February 13-15: registration opens on Tuesday, January 27 @ 9:00 am
#3: March 20-22: registration opens on Tuesday, March 3 @ 9:00 am
#4: April 24-26: registration opens on Tuesday, April 7 @ 9:00 am
All events will have a maximum of 16 singles spots and 16 doubles spots. Singles matches will take place Friday evening/Saturday afternoon, doubles matches will take place Saturday evening/Sunday morning/afternoon.
Divisions will still be determined by WTN, VR, National Ranking and MY DISCRETION.
Registration process: online as usual with pre-set registration opening as per the above. No email reminders will be sent. First come, first served. All registrations are time stamped so we know the order in which they come in. A doubles team is accepted when BOTH players have registered.
Any walkovers/defaults/retirements will count as a win.
After the draws and schedule is released, any player who withdraws will be penalized 10 points for every match they do not complete (assuming they have any points)
Tie-breaking process will be determined prior to the first event.
