Our 2023/2024 Rogers First Set: Rising Stars Circuit (formerly ROG), which included a total of 30 juniors, came to a close last weekend at the Abony Family Tennis Center leaving us with division champions for the Red, Orange, and Green ball categories. Full Results Below.

Background

These events, held annually since 2015, have provided a stepping stone for players to transition from traditional lessons to competitive match play in a barrier free inclusive environment. Since its inception in 2015 it has successfully produced 15 or more players who have qualified/competed at the Junior Atlantic Championships, 5 players who have qualified/competed at Canada Games and 6 players who have gone on to compete at various Junior Nationals.

Amazing to see what the players are capable of once they get a chance to just play. They are so much better than I was at this age. The future looks bright for tennis in New Brunswick!
