For the first time in 3 attempts, the team from New Brunswick won the NB vs. NS Challenge held this past weekend in Truro.  The team got off to a great start on Saturday playing outdoors on a great fall day at the Truro Tennis Club by taking a commanding 22-12 lead after the first day of play.  Play was moved indoors to the Cougar Dome on Sunday and again the team played great and finished the day with a 17-6 record.  The final tally for the challenge was 39-18 for New Brunswick in large part to the team winning 13 of 17 third set super tiebreaker matches.  A total of 20 players from NB took part in the tournament including:  Pete Sesplankis, Mary Wobma, Keith Wobma, Robert Hebert, Clinteast Mayers, Pat Lyons, Allen Olsen, Sathe Zarei, Lise Gautreau, Reg Caulfield, Karen Comeau, Mehdi Ben-Ammar, Alexandre Drouin, William Langley, Rose Arsenault, Monique Klooesterman, Maryani Lesmana, Colette Beaulieu, David Vaughan and Scott Ricketts.  Thanks to Roger Keating & Tennis Nova Scotia, the Truro Tennis Club, and the Cougar Dome for hosting such a great event.  The next edition of the Challenge will be held in Fredericton in April 2016 and Nova Scotia will be back with a vengeance.
