National Bank to Become Official Event Partner of Tennis New Brunswick

Tennis New Brunswick announced today that the National Bank will become the Official Event Partner of Tennis New Brunswick.  The partnership agreement will make National Bank the name sponsor of all sanctioned Tennis New Brunswick tournaments held throughout the province and will also be associated with all Tennis New Brunswick properties including grassroots programs, Future Stars, and player and coaching development.  “We are absolutely thrilled to be working with National Bank on this partnership for tennis in New Brunswick,” said Mark Thibault, Executive Director of Tennis New Brunswick.  “National Bank is a nationally recognized supporter of tennis and we look forward to forging a strong partnership with them to support the development of tennis in the province.”

National Bank is currently the presenting sponsor of the Roger’s Cup, Canada’s men’s and women’s professional tournaments held in Toronto and Montreal as well as the title sponsors of National Bank Cup in Québec city and the National Bank Challenger Circuit with events in Drummondville, Gatineau, Granby, Winnipeg and Saguenay.  They are also partners with Tennis Canada on the National Bank Little Aces Program which aims to improve the overall development of children aged 6-8, and the On the Ball Program which is committed to collecting used tennis balls to donate to schools in Ontario and Quebec and placed on the bottom of chair legs to help reduce classroom noise and provide students with a quieter and more learning-friendly environment.  “National Bank has had a presence in New Brunswick for more than 100 years where we continue playing our role as a strong economic and social driver. The next events on the summer tournament schedule will be the National Bank Saint John Open taking place on June 18th & 19th and the biggest tournament of the summer season, the National Bank East Coast Open taking place in Moncton/Dieppe/Riverview on July 1st – July 3rd.
