The following are the results from the New Brunswick Junior Provincial Tennis Championships held in Moncton this past week.
Alex Mockler of Fredericton took a pair of titles winning the Under 16 boys singles crown with a 6/2, 6/3 win over John Asimakos of Saint John. He followed that up by defeating Eric Jean of Shediac 6/4, 6/2 to take the Under 14 boys singles title. Minh Nguyen defeated his brother Nhan Nguyen, both from Fredericton, 6/2, 6/2 to win the Under 18 boys crown. Matthew Bennett of Fredericton defeated Finn McMorran, also of Fredericton, to win the Under 10 boys singles title by scores of 4/2, 4/2. Mia Bennett of Fredericton won the Under 10 girls singles title with a 4/1, 4/1 victory over Cali Nadeau of Quispamsis. Cade Nadeau of Quispamsis defeated Kirtan Patel of Fredericton 6/1, 6/4 to win the Under 12 boys singles title.
