Marc Pepin of Fredericton and partner Robert Exell of BC teamed up to win the 55+ Men’s Doubles title at the Western Canadian Senior Indoor National Championships in Victoria, BC. Pepin/Exell were seeded 2nd in the draw and defeated the #1 seeded team of Ed Bakker and Art Hobbs of BC in the finals 6/2, 6/4. They also defeated the #3 seeded Robert Bettauer and Russ Hartley in the semis 3/6, 6/2, 10/7. Pepin also finished 6th overall in the 55+ Men’s Singles event losing in the consolation final to Russ Hartley of BC 6/3, 6/4.
